Waves I
One of the most important artists who impact my art world was the legendary Japanese artist, Katsushika Hokusai (1769 ~ 1849). He began his career as an engraver artist, but he was also an artist who sowed the birth of Japanese Manga. His works had a tremendous influence on European Impressionism artists, leading to a collaboration of Western and Eastern artistic styles. He inspired artists such as Vincent Van Gogh, Monet, as well as Mane, who was a musician Debussy saw his sea work and wrote a symphony called La Mer (Sea).
Thinking of NFT Art under the theme of a merge between the West and the East, of course, Katsushika Kokusai came to mind first.
Then, the West... As I thought about it, I contemplated other famous people such as Mozart, Leonardo da Vinci and so on.
The character was chosen as Hokusai for the East, and it would not be fun to replace another character for the West. I looked out the window with a glass of Expresso, and I thought, "Oh, this is it." If there is a sea of Hokusai in the East, there is a sky in the West. Western constellations.
This is how the Waves series was born. Waves series is completed in total 5 pieces; I, II, III, IV, and V.
